The instructions say it's for indoor use only but the ads show people using it outside. After looking at the design, I see why it's for indoor use. The sharp edge of the bottom plate would've destroyed my grass after a few passes. The bearings of the swivel base are exposed to dirt and debris also. I fixed both problems.

This is exactly what I was looking for to augment my garage gym. Sled pulls forward and backward made super easy with the genius design. Super compact so it’s easy to store.

Assessing the Zero Sled
I’ve researched this sled for a year. It has an innovative simple rotating turn-around capability which saves a lot of unnecessary wear-and-tear on the knees and back from constantly turning a heavy sled around to go the opposite direction. (I did moderately tweak an MCL a couple years ago by using my foot and lower leg turning a heavy sled around at the gym.)
I will use this exclusively at the gym (over 100’ long and carpeted) for heavy pulls forward, backward, and sideways both directions. I also pull a lighter sled around reservoirs and over a railroad overpass for additional cardio work.
As an experienced weightlifting coach, personal trainer, as well as strength and conditioning coach for 35 years and worked with well over 1,000 people, I highly recommend this product! Of course, I will have other people use it.
I am also 61 and still do sled training for about 500 miles a year!
