What is the weight capacity?

The frame is rated to hold up to 500 lbs, even for dips.

For users over 250 lbs or doing heavy back extensions, we recommend attaching the Loading Bar Pro for added ground contact and support.

The NordBench Pro's durability is achieved because it uses a mix of high-grade steel types for strength and performance:

7-gauge steel – center extendable beam (max load-bearing)
9-gauge steel – base beam and footplate (stability)
11-gauge steel – dip handle bars (commercial-grade durability)
14-gauge steel – rollers, base, and pad supports (support structure)

How does the adjustable footplate work?

It flips between three secure positions depending on the movement:

Upright for Nordics and GHRs
Flat for platform movements like step-downs or heel-elevated squats
Angled for slant board squats or stretching

Each setting locks in place for safety and stability during training.

How is the NordBench Pro different from the NordBench?

Is the NordBench Pro fully assembled out of the box?

Not fully — but setup is quick and easy.

It ships partially assembled and only requires two adjustable wrenches or a socket set. Most users finish setup in under 10 minutes without any special tools or extra help.

Will it fit in my home gym?

Yes — it’s compact but powerful.

Despite having a larger footprint than the original, it’s still sized to fit in most home setups:

Upright: 15” D x 22” W x 44” H
Fully extended: 15” H x 22” W x 59” L

It replaces multiple machines in one space-saving design. You can either:

Store it vertically/upright
Slide it under a bed with at least 8" of clearance

My new BFF

I have been waiting years for a machine like this to come out - it has every single exercise I’ve ever done at a gym, and now I don’t have to leave my house. I have zero complaints with the Nordstick Pro.
I also purchased the resistance bands, as well as the other resistance bands that **** in. I have never been so motivated to work out and I feel like this is giving me a new interest and love for exercise which I needed. Best of all, this machine is compact and doesn’t get in the way of anything. I can’t wait to see the progress I’ve made since I received this in the mail and a couple months from now.

I must admit, that in these days of Amazon and instant gratification, I was a little bit surprised at how long it took to arrive...That being said, it was well worth the wait. This thing is SOLID and versatile. You can work your core and hamstrings from every angle with confidence that the machine will be around long after we're gone. For once an Instagram Ad actually delivered as promised.

The best piece of equipment in my garage gym

I love how compact this piece is. I use it every time I work out (3xweek). My home gym is very limited in space. I love that it folds up and doesn't require a lot of space. I use it for Bulgarian split squats, hip thrusts, back extension and glutes. I love that I'm able to do nordic hamstring curls at my level. I have been able to rehab my lower back. I've had lower back pain for the last 7 years. Following Low Back Ability and now having the Nordbench, my back pain is 95% resolved. On occasions when I'm doing squats and feel minor back tension, I'll use the Nordbench for back extensions. When I return to the back squat I'm able to perform without pain.

Their the Best!

When I received the NordBench Pro I noticed that the pelvic pads were uneven. When I informed them of this they immediately sent me a new pair that was even.

Back saver

So let me start by saying that I am a sports physical therapist, amd between minor back injuries for my days in the U.S. Army and occasional tweaks with my weightlifting, I do, about three or four times a year, tweak my back. That hasn’t happened since I started regularly using the Nord bench for hyper extensions in Nordic curls. I love the versatility of this system, the small footprints, and the various levels of progression that can be performed. I highly recommend the Nord bench to anyone out there.
