What is the weight capacity?

The frame is rated to hold up to 500 lbs, even for dips.

For users over 250 lbs or doing heavy back extensions, we recommend attaching the Loading Bar Pro for added ground contact and support.

The NordBench Pro's durability is achieved because it uses a mix of high-grade steel types for strength and performance:

7-gauge steel – center extendable beam (max load-bearing)
9-gauge steel – base beam and footplate (stability)
11-gauge steel – dip handle bars (commercial-grade durability)
14-gauge steel – rollers, base, and pad supports (support structure)

How does the adjustable footplate work?

It flips between three secure positions depending on the movement:

Upright for Nordics and GHRs
Flat for platform movements like step-downs or heel-elevated squats
Angled for slant board squats or stretching

Each setting locks in place for safety and stability during training.

How is the NordBench Pro different from the NordBench?

Is the NordBench Pro fully assembled out of the box?

Not fully — but setup is quick and easy.

It ships partially assembled and only requires two adjustable wrenches or a socket set. Most users finish setup in under 10 minutes without any special tools or extra help.

Will it fit in my home gym?

Yes — it’s compact but powerful.

Despite having a larger footprint than the original, it’s still sized to fit in most home setups:

Upright: 15” D x 22” W x 44” H
Fully extended: 15” H x 22” W x 59” L

It replaces multiple machines in one space-saving design. You can either:

Store it vertically/upright
Slide it under a bed with at least 8" of clearance

Nordbench is amazing. Feels great for nordic curls, back extensions and split squats. Quality is excellent, assembly videos are detailed and helpful. There were some delays with production and an issue with border duties, and the staff was extremely communicative and helpful. Would definitely recommend this product.

The Nordstick is a game-changer for my leg days and overall posterior chain work.
I use it almost daily for controlled Nordic curls, assisted reps, and hamstring activation before squats or deadlifts. It’s compact, portable, and seriously levels up bodyweight training. I’ve noticed better glute-ham tie-in engagement and less knee strain over time. Great addition to any home gym, especially if you’re chasing performance and aesthetics like I am.

10/10 I love this thing. I’m currently in the low back ability program rehabbing my budging discs. I purchased the back buddy for travel and the nordstick for home. My wife and I have used it daily since it arrived and I’m thrilled with the purchase. There is a little bit of wobble in a few places, but considering that it is a 6 in one machine and under $500 I think the quality is absolutely top notch. A bulk of my lower body work outs are back extension, glute bridges, Bulgarian split squats, and Nordic curls, so I feel like this thing was made just for me. Ince my band attachments arrive I feel like I’ll be able to do everything for my upper body outside of pull ups. This is the best home gym purchase I have ever made. It was worth the wait! My only regret is the pro version came out as soon as this one delivered !

I love how versatile the nordbench is and how it fits into such a small space. I look forward to when I use it during the week.

Great accessory!

Simple to set up and and great addition to my home gym! I bought this bench bc I’ve been wanting a hyperextension but they take up too much space. This folds up and rolls to wherever you want to store it. The many options for different exercises besides just hyperextension is exceptional making this a great addition to a small workout space or a home gym.

Solid, semi modular piece of gym equipment

The NordBench was easy to put together (9 out of 10). Quality of construction is great (10 of 10). Ease of use is also easy (9 of 10). Easy to move and store (10 of 10). I wish it was capable of (somehow) going to a higher angle than 45. After by rehab for 2 years on my legs I can’t do a 45 degree nordic curl. I wish I had 60 degree option (somehow)
