How It Started
It began with one simple frustration:
Seeing athletes and everyday people sidelined by injuries that could have been prevented.

“As a physical therapist, I spent years helping people recover from hamstring and knee injuries. The same issues kept showing up again and again. People wanted to stay strong and healthy, but they didn’t have access to the right tools.”
The Nordic curl is one of the best exercises for hamstring strength, yet it was nearly impossible to do at home without expensive or bulky equipment. So I built my own.
The first version of The NordStick was made from a rolling pin, a ratchet strap, and a door anchor. It was simple, but it worked. It allowed my clients to train their posterior chain safely and effectively from home.
What started as a homemade solution turned into something much bigger.
The Beginning of a Movement
In 2020, I founded The Nordstick with one goal: to make effective,
physical-therapist–engineered equipment accessible to everyone.
The original NordStick opened the door for people to train like athletes without needing a gym membership or a full home setup. From there, we grew into a full ecosystem of space-saving tools that help people move better, recover faster, and build real strength.
Now, our flagship product is the NordBench: a multi-purpose nordic bench that lets home gym enthusiasts get commercial-grade lower body workouts at home without the hefty price tag.
